If your water is distasteful and it has a yellow or brown color to it, there may be organic materials like algae in your water. However, the quality of your water can be fixed by adding a few components to your plumbing system.

If you are just having a few small algae problems, you just need to install a particle filter. However, if your problems are a little more difficult, you will need to install a continuous feeder. A continuous feeder adds a chlorine solution to your H2O. You should also add an activated carbon filter.

Dirty Water

If you have a well, there may be a time when your water becomes dirty or cloudy. Dirty or cloudy H2O comes from the well itself. The particles in your water come from the dirt, the sand, the silt and the mud that is in the well.

You can solve this problem by adding a particle filter to your water system. This will remove the dirt, sand, silt and mud from the water in order to restore your water quality. However, you may have to add something else. This is only if your H2O smells bad as well. If your it smells bad, try adding an activated carbon filter.
