It's been over 10 years since I started drinking water on a regular basis. By beginning this wonderful habit, I knew it was time for me to cut out soda. I also knew that soda had a lot to do with me being overweight. At first, it was hard but then I learned three easy ways to make water easier to drink. Try these tips to help you increase your H2O intake.
1.) Add a slice of lemon to 12 ounces of ice water. It will alter the taste of your drink and make it feel and taste more refreshing. It also will make you want to drink even more!

2.) Add JUST a splash of juice. Juice alone is high in sugars and works great if you want to alter the taste of your H2O without adding all the sugar.
3.) Try Carbonated water, which also comes in different flavors and can taste very refreshing. This fantastic tip can also help cut out the urge for soda and will still give you that bubbly and fulfilling feeling every time you drink it.
Bonus Tip
Get creative and use flavored ice cubes. You can experiment with fresh fruit or mint to jazz up plain old water.
If you hate drinking water, use these three quick fixes to ensure you get eight full glasses a day. Figuring out how to maintain this specific kind of habit is not easy to do for most people, especially if you are not used to drinking water at all. Remember, start slowly and add more H2O to your diet. You will be surprised once you start drinking this wonderful clear liquid, how much you will start to crave it.
