Mold and Mildew - The "How to" Cure

Mold comes from bacteria that has found suspension. Suspension is "being held in", or suspended in.

Let me guess.....You are tired of the mildew, and you have probably tried a lot of remedies (like vinegar) to stop it. I know how you feel - trust me!

INSTALLING A WATER SOFTENER

When hard water molecules come through your water system, they do not allow the suspension of soaps, which would wash bacteria down the drain, but they stop soap from bubbling.

Held inside soap, hard minerals make it difficult for soap to wash down the drain, thus - easy for bacteria to stay on your tub and sinks.

If you have ever dealt with itchy legs, it is because of soap that would not wash off your skin! This soap harbors bacteria. After soaking with hard water and soap - you will begin to have skin conditions - even if they are mild!

Once it gets in, you can kill yourself trying to get mold out of a home. You will need to take drastic measures to stop it, and it needs to happen now, before it grows.

But what can you do to have it stay away? How can you cure your water of hard minerals and bacteria?

Start with installing a good bacteria filter at the main valve of your home. Then install a whole home water softening system. The first filter will stop the bacteria, and the second filter (the water softener), will stop the hard water minerals.

With these two filters working together you have a system. It will stop the hard minerals that have created the soap curd, which has provided suspension for bacteria.

For conquering mold and mildew, soft water will not be a harboring spot for bacteria. It provides suspension of soap - the soap and bacteria will wash down the drain (like they are supposed to).

Soft water is a good sudsing agent for soap. Soap suds will suspend the bacteria, that breeds mold spores and mildew, and carry them down the drain!

Installing a water softener is definitely a game-changer for preventing soap scum buildup. I’d also suggest regularly cleaning your drains with baking soda and boiling water to keep bacteria from lingering!
